Smouldering concerns at  Antrim Hospital as RHI row rages ‘out of control’ thumbnail

A FORMER health care worker has expressed his 'disappointment' at the long waiting times patients were forced to endure at Antrim Area Hospital over the festive season.
A lack of resources is partly to blame, say the UUP - but this will be cold comfort for those languishing in queues as money continues to go up in smoke through the Renewable Heating Incentive scheme.
Councillor Drew Ritchie revealed that he has been contacted by local people who have faced 'excruciating delays' at the busy Emergency Department.
This was echoed by South Antrim Assemblyman Steve Aiken.
“Once again I am stunned by the DUP's inability to be able to calculate cost accurately - something recent headlines continue to confirm," he said.
