Appeal after horror crash

IMPASSIONED pleas have been made to try to ensure that no more lives are put at risk on the 'back road' between Randalstown and Toome where two children were seriously injured in a horrific accident last week.
Brother and sister Fintan and Mary O'Neill were struck by an Audi A3 after getting off a school bus as they travelled home from St Patrick's College in Maghera.
While the 14-year-old boy is understood to be recovering, at the time of going to press, his 11-year-old sister remained in a critical condition in hospital.
