Tardree ‘neglect saddens  heart’ of retired forester thumbnail

A RETIRED forester has added his voice to the chorus of critics who claim it is only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured or killed by a scrambler or dirt bike rider in Tardree Forest.
The man, who did not wish to be named, told the Antrim Guardian: "During a recent visit, I was amazed and saddened to see an area of total neglect, litter everywhere, even dead animals dumped, surfaces torn up, paths covered in mud - a 'forgotten area'.
“It saddens my heart to see. Where has the pride and joy gone?"
