Mum and kids flee their home after petrol bomb attack thumbnail

LIVES could have been senselessly lost after a petrol bomb attack on a family home in the dead of night.
Shortly after 4.30am last Friday morning (May 19) a 35-year-old woman was woken from her slumber by a 'loud bang' at her home at Ballydonaghy Meadows in Crumlin.
She raced downstairs and saw a sheet of flame licking at the broken glass at the door.
With the house rapidly filling with acrid black smoke, she woke her children - aged 15, 11 and six - and fled the property.
Branding the attack 'reckless', Detective Chief Inspector Danny McCubbin has urged witnesses to come forward.
