ABBEYVIEW snatched Rainey Cup success over Harryville Homers in a dramatic penalty shootout courtesy of a cracking save by keeper, Darren Harbinson.
Abbeyview took the lead against the run of play on 30 minutes but with 17 minutes to go Homers drew level when they were awarded a penalty kick and Darren Campbell stepped up to score.
Abbeyview were dealt a further blow 10 minutes later when they were reduced to 10 men after a player was dismissed for a second yellow card.
And with the extra man in extra time, Homers should have had Abbeyview on the back foot but like the final minutes of normal time, they struggled to trouble the keeper, taking the game to a penalty shootout where the Antrim side emerged victorious.
