Eamon rocks with Ed at Glasto! thumbnail

A RANDALSTOWN man rocked out on stage with Ed Sheeran at Glastonbury on Sunday night as he whipped up the crowd with his unrivalled skills on the bodhrán.
One of the most respected bodhrán players in Irish music, Eamon Murray has been showered with plaudits and compliments during his years on the 'scene'.
As a member of trad band Beoga, he was no doubt delighted to get everyone dancing to the beat of Sheeran's smash hit Galway Girl, which incidentally, he and his band co-wrote with the star.
Taking to the stage with the Shape of You hitmaker as the final night headline act on the Pyramid stage, the band felt all the emotion as they helped him close the festival which won't be held again until 2018.
