SOUTH Antrim MP Paul Girvan and fellow Westminster rep Ian Paisley have visited Dundrod, home of the MCE Ulster Grand Prix, to review the significant improvements that have been made recently to the paddock and circuit.
The improvements are primarily about the health and safety of both the competitors and those attending the event.
Mr Girvan said: "The MCE Ulster Grand Prix is a key date in the local road racing calendar, putting Dundrod on the map and bringing riders and fans to this part of Northern Ireland.
“Huge credit must go to the organisers, many of whom are volunteers, for putting this world class event on year after year. My hope is for a good day's racing and most importantly a safe day's racing."
