THE long-awaited new campus for Parkhall Integrated College in Antrim may not be ready as promised in September, it has been claimed.
Ulster Unionist councillor Jim Montgomery said he has been told that with less than eight weeks to go until the beginning of the next school term, there are delays on the 15m new build, which could last until the end of the year.
“Both staff and parents are still under the impression that at the start of the new term the new building will be operational," he told the Antrim Guardian.
“I call on the Education Authority to clarify as a matter of urgency what buildings staff and pupils should return to in the new term."
The finished building is set to accommodate 735 pupils.
