Tattoo artists draws hope from rock tragedy thumbnail

A TATTOO parlour in Antrim has raised 800 in aid of suicide awareness and prevention after holding an event in memory of the late lead singer of Linkin Park, who took his own life recently.
Cloak and Dagger in Fountain Street held the charity tattoo day to 'show respect for the unforgettable Chester Bennington'.
Manager Stefan Getty invited people to get a Linkin Park logo tattoo, in exchange for a 25 donation - and dozens flocked to his studio from as far afield as Dublin to lend their support.
“There are a lot of people out there affected by suicide but this was a really positive outcome and we had a good chat with a lot of people," he said.
“There is a large amount of depression and suicide within this community which is lingering and needs to be talked about and brought out into the open."
