Legal threat halts ‘shameful’ display thumbnail

THE South Antrim MLA who was compared to Hitler for his vocal support of abortion in cases of fatal foetal abnormality has once again locked swords with hardline pro-life activists.
Precious Life had planned to hold a protest at Belfast International Airport last weekend - during which they intended to display 'large graphic images of aborted babies' to holidaymakers and their families.
But former Alliance leader David Ford blasted their 'crude propaganda', and blew the whistle on their protest to Airport top brass.
Hours before Bernadette Smyth and her team were due to converge on Aldergrove, Precious Life pulled the plug citing 'legal reasons'.
In a statement, the Airport insisted that the protesters were not welcome on their property.
“We are not prepared to see the Airport used for a publicity-seeking protest with high graphic and unsettling images that could cause offence and hurt to some of our passengers. We would ask the group to stay away."
