Were paramilitaries behind house attack in the Stiles estate? thumbnail

POLICE are investigating an attack on a house in the Stiles estate in Antrim.
A spokeswoman said this week that paramilitary involvement is one possible line of enquiry.
Officers believe that a number of masked men tried to force entry into the property at Ardnaglass Gardens by smashing the front door.
The windows of a Volkswagen Golf parked outside were also smashed.
It is believed the men made their escape in a Volkswagen Passat that was found burnt out in the Carnearny Lane area a short time later.
