Pothead noodle - UUP rep lifts the lid on drug craze gripping Antrim thumbnail

TEARAWAY teenagers are mounting shoplifting sprees to pinch products to help them take drugs, a concerned Antrim councillor has claimed.
Ulster Unionist Jim Montgomery believes that children as young as 12 are targeting Pot Noodles, though they have no interest in the savoury snack itself.
Instead they are peeling back the thick foil lids and using them to 'cook' their drugs.
Councillor Montgomery agrees that it sounds unlikely, but he insists the craze is 'no laughing matter'.
“When I first heard this I thought it was a joke - but sadly it's not," he said.
