Drugs found close to garden used by vulnerable adults thumbnail

ANTI-social behaviour on Antrim's Station Road shows no sign of abating after it emerged that drugs were found this week close to a community garden used by vulnerable adults.
Just weeks ago the Antrim Guardian revealed how young thugs had been targeting Antrim Day Centre during the summer holidays, with windows being smashed and clients being left unsettled and distressed.
Now it has emerged that drugs paraphernalia - and even ladies' underwear and condoms - have been found close to nearby Ferrard House Garden, which is used and maintained by vulnerable adults and people with dementia.
South Antrim MLA Trevor Clarke said that those responsible need to stop and think about their actions.
“Users of this garden are vulnerable adults. How would the trespassers feel if this was their family members who found these?" he said.
