‘Drinking, drugs and underage sex’ thumbnail

TEARAWAY teens are indulging in 'drink, drugs and underage sex' under the cover of darkness after street lights were removed in Antrim's Parkhall estate.
New lamp posts which use energy saving bulbs have been installed in recent weeks but it has emerged that a number of posts were taken away and not replaced.
Now residents claim that the cost cutting has created 'blackspots', which have become a magnet for anti-social activity.
“Young people are just running wild and we are at our wits' end," one local woman said.
“They are drinking alcohol, taking drugs and having sex."
