THE Crumlin, Glenavy and Randalstown areas are reeling from a triple tragedy this week after the sudden deaths of a toddler, an award-winning student and a local 'character' in separate accidents.
Randalstown was left shaken by the death of Mervyn 'Bo' Millar, who died following a road traffic accident near his Groggan home in the early hours of Tuesday October 31.
Later that day, in Crumlin, little Jack Irvine (4), from Cairn Terrace, drowned in a pond during a family celebration on Hallowe'en night.
And finally, on Friday, 24-year-old Matthew Bradley from Glenavy, died as the result of a hit and run accident as he enjoyed a night out with friends in Liverpool.
