Council car park is 'like the surface of the moon' thumbnail

ANTRIM and Newtownabbey Council has been accused of allowing a town centre car park to fall into 'wrack and ruin'.
Huge pot holes now pock the surface of the Central Car Park at Castle Mall - to such an extent that one angry motorist complained that it was 'like driving on the surface of the moon'.
“It's got to be one of the worst car parks in the country. It's a disgrace," fumed the local man.
He added: "When the council took over the car parks they seem to have forgotten that with power comes responsibility - and they have a clear duty to make sure they are safe.
“At the moment this car park is downright dangerous."
