RANDALSTOWN have secured their place in the play-off for promotion to Qualifying One after a last-gasp victory over rivals Larne.
A late Scott McClenaghan try converted by Martin Connolly gave the Neillsbrook men an 18-12 win which sets them up for a crunch clash against Portadown at Chambers Park this Saturday for a place in the top division of Junior rugby in Ulster.
Meanwhile, there were contrasting fortunes for Randalstown and Ballyclare rugby clubs in cup competitions over the Easter period.
Ballyclare First XV celebrated Towns Cup success with victory over Portadown at the Kingspan Stadium but the club's Fourth XV and Randalstown Third XV were beaten by Dungannon Thirds and Cooke Seconds in the finals of the Forster Cup and Forster Plate respectively.
