Youths torch toilets at Garden Show Ireland thumbnail

TEENAGE vandals have been blamed for an act of 'wanton vandalism' that cast a dark shadow over last weekend's successful Garden Show Ireland in Antrim.
Thousands of visitors visited the popular event in the Castle Gardens - but it also attracted the unwanted attention of tearaway teens.
After the three-day attraction closed on Sunday a large group of young people were observed at the temporary toilets - and within minutes thick black smoke was belching into the night sky.
Toxic chemicals and burnt plastic were still evident as the clean-up operation got under way on Monday.
