CJ's got the whole world in her hands! thumbnail

SHE'S already well known for her prowess on the hockey field, but now a local sportswoman is heading to Canada to pump iron.
Antrim woman Chloe-Jade McDonald has been chosen to represent Ireland in the upcoming World Powerlifting Championships.
Chloe-Jade, or CJ as she's better known, is the current -57kg National champion and holds a number of Irish records including a phenomenal 163kg deadlift record.
Her rise in the sport has been nothing short of meteoric, as she continues to juggle her intensive training schedule with a career as a psychiatric nurse as well as her duties as Randalstown Hockey Club's First XI captain.
