LOCAL people have been paying warm tribute to Dr Nagaiah Jayaprakash, who died peacefully surrounded by his family last week.
The former Antrim GP was a respected figure in the town for decades and held in high regard by his patients with many taking to social media to share their sadness.
His son Supreet thanked those who have extended their condolences.
“Thank you to everyone who has sent thoughts and prayers, flowers and cards," he said.
“It's been incredible hearing all the stories that you've had to share over the years. They make us feel so proud of him."
