Enkalon and Old Bleach's new year losing streak

IN the Ballymena and District Indoor Bowling League , the first week of the 2010 season suffered rather heavily with only six games taking place over the three divisions.
The game at Neillsbrook in Randalstown between Old Bleach and Michelin resulted in a win for the Michelin side who added another four points to their league total.
The Woodside Road based team shared the first half points with Christopher Wilson in his mew position of skip, guiding his rink to a seven shot win over Mervyn McDonald.
Nigel McNally had a simple shot win over Grant Robinson for the Bleach point.
The second half saw Tom Lithco and Wesley Caldwell have clear wins against Jim McCullough and W Fullerton.
JTI 40 (2), BUSC 41 (3): T Rock 11, M Martin 10; L McIlroy 14, A Bonnar 6; B Russell 9, N Robinson 13; B Lynn 6, B McGrath 12.
Old Bleach 22 (1), Michelin 41 (4): N McNally 9, G Robinson 8; M McDonald 5, C Wilson 12; Jim McCullough 4, T Lithco 9; W Fullerton 4, W Caldwell 12.
The two top teams im the second division, namely BPFA B and Portglenone CC both managed to collect four points from their games with Enkalon at Broughshane and West Church A at the Ballymoney Road venue.
At the Knockan Road venue the Broughshane 'B' team were the masters against Enkalon with wins coming from rinks in charge of T McClintock, Noel Graham and Joe Campbell and the Antrim side's only success came from Basil Johnston's rink who were six shot winners over James Wilson.
Result: BPFA 'B' 44 (4), Enkalon 26 (1).
