Peter takes a  bite out of the ‘Big Apple’ thumbnail

A TEMPLEPATRICK runner who completed a marathon 26.219 mile test of endurance hopes that the blood, sweat and tears will offer hope to others.
Peter Megarrell wanted to test his mettle in a big way - and they don't come any bigger than the New York Marathon, the world's largest road race!
The local man was among 18 Ulster athletes who took part in the event in support of Northern Ireland's leading local cancer charity.
This week Peter delivered an extraordinary Christmas present to Action Cancer - a cheque for over £4,000 to help local people facing an uncertain New Year.
