Allen still hungry for snooker’s top prize

AFTER pocketing over £1,500,000 during his career in snooker's top flight, Antrim's Mark Allen could be forgiven for putting his feet up over the festive break.
But then most mere mortals are not planning global domination!
True, he has claimed some big scalps this year and advanced in many of the majors.
And then there was the small matter of the £10,000 bonus when he completed his first televised 147 at the UK Championships in November.
But he is not content with that. Mark reckons 2016 was a 'waste' because he has not ended it as World Champion.
And that is something he fully intends to remedy next year.
