A GLENAVY man is out to prove that when it comes to raising vital funds for charity, he is more than game!
St Joseph's player Dan MacKavanagh is one of the hardy souls taking part in an ambitious GAA World Record attempt to raise cash for Cancer Focus NI and the Michaela Foundation.
He is one of a 42-strong panel who will aim to smash the Guinness World Record for the longest Gaelic football game in history.
The 'Marathon Match' in partnership with O'Neill's International Sports, will take place on January 7 and 8 in the Tyrone GAA Garvaghey Centre.
The record-breaking attempt will see two teams go head to head for an epic 24 hours - a world first.
And the big-hearted local man can't wait to get started!
