Corner boss calls it a day thumbnail

CHIMNEY Corner manager Martin Etherson has resigned after two and a half years at the helm.
The move comes after one of the most disappointing starts to a season ever for the local side.
Corner suffered nine straight defeats in a row, leaving the boys languishing at the bottom of the Ballymena and Provincial Football League table.
It took until late October for the side to start putting points on the board.
The Ballymena man took over the reins in July 2014 after previous manager Stephen Hatfield had to step down due to work commitments.
Etherson had previously been involved with Chimney Corner as a youth coach, under the stewardship of the late Shay Hamill.
He was in charge of of Ballymena Saturday Morning League side Ballykeel, who he led to promotion from the second to the first division and who he also steered to the semi-finals of the County Antrim Junior Shield.
