RANDALSTOWN Rugby Club U16 are warming up for a return to Kingspan Stadium this Saturday in a bid to reclaim the Ulster Cup.
This same team were champions four years ago when they brought the U13 Ulster title home to the town.
With most of the boys having come up through the ranks of the club from the mini section, the pride they have in their red and white shirts is undeniable.
And, with a real drive and commitment, they showed that the Town really was marching on as they flew through the early stages of their season.
They claimed a first round win at home against Clogher Vallery before playing away to Rainey OB and emerging victorious again.
As they powered through another away match at Armagh, they prepared for arguably their toughest pairing in the semi-final - Malone.
The Belfast side had denied the boys in red and white victory in the league and there was undoubtedly a score to settle.
By half time, things weren't looking good for Town as they were 14-0 down, however, an incredible second half saw them put 17 points on the board, to secure their coveted spot in the decider.
“This is a great team, there's no denying it," coach and Youth Convener, Nigel Gilbert told the Antrim Guardian at one of their final training sessions ahead of their visit to the bright lights of Kingspan.
