The Bear promises ‘one hell of a fight’ thumbnail

AN Antrim MMA fighter is preparing for the biggest bout of his career next month.
Currently 16th in the UK/Ireland amateur heavyweight rankings, Scott 'The Bear' Trelford's quest to win a medal at this year's IMMAF European Amateur Championships in Bulgaria at the end of March, ended in bitter disappointment as he lost on a somewhat controversial split decision to his Italian opponent in the quarter-finals.
Now he has set his sights on Clan Wars 28, when he takes on Julius Werdis in an ISKA British Heavyweight title fight at the Girdwood Centre, Belfast on June 4.
This is the biggest fight of Scott's career to date and one he is very excited about it.
It is expected that a good sized crowd from Antrim will travel to Belfast to give their support to The Bear as he battles it out for the British crown and the belt that goes with it.
