HOWZAT! Muckamore knock hot favourites Waringstown out of Challenge Cup thumbnail

MUCKAMORE First XI have sent shockwaves through Ulster cricket by humbling Waringstown, one of the undisputed giants of the local game.
When the men from Moylena were promoted to the Premier League this season there were whispers that their time at the top tier would be short - after all, senior cricket is a whole new ball game.
They may have been cast as the whipping boys, but on Saturday they gleefully ripped up the script and proved they were giant killers with a practically flawless display.
And no-one was more surprised than Waringstown. They came to Muckamore expecting a relatively painless win en route to more testing afternoons in the Arthur J Gallagher Senior Challenge Cup.
But the men from County Down were in for a mighty shock.
