Cargin hot favourites to retain Division One title thumbnail

AT the break in the football leagues and with the split complete, Antrim's senior football teams have just five games remaining to determine the winners and runners-up and the two sides to face relegation.
The second phase of games will begin on Wednesday evening and should be completed in early August before the Championships begins.
Competing in section A from which the winners and runners up will come are Cargin, Creggan, St Gall's, St John's, Hannastown and Aghagallon.
Given the order in which they completed the first section of the competition, it seems safe to suggest that the winners and runners-up should come from the top three sides with Cargin likely to retain their league crown.
In Division Two, front runners Glenavy look to be in a strong position to make it to the top having lost just one of their 11 games to date.
