Kennedy finishes sixth after shaky start at Cadwell Park thumbnail

DUNDROD'S Robert Kennedy took Team Sandown Kawasaki to a hard-fought sixth place in round eight of the Pirelli National Superstock race at Cadwell Park.
It was an impressive result, considering the fact that the local rider had never raced at this particular venue before.
In the free practice, Robert was languishing in a lowly 21st place but after knocking almost three seconds off his first session lap times, he moved up to 13th.
In qualifying, Kennedy managed to find an extra half second, which put him in eighth place on the grid of 33 competitors and with his team working hard on a race set-up, he repaid them with an impressive sixth place finish.
