Girls have a ball at GAA ‘taster session’ thumbnail

SUNDAY marked a 'monumental step' in promoting Naomh Comhghall CLG and ladies' football in Antrim town when the club welcomed almost 50 young girls to participate in a taster session.
St Comgall's have invested a lot of time into building a sustainable future for girls' sport in the borough. Their goal, they say, is to build an underage structure for girls at all age groups within the club - just like they have done with the boys.
This year alone they have reached two underage boys' finals which will take place at the end of the month, and they are hoping to rival this with the girls in the coming years.
And judging by the evidence of last weekend, they are well on their way!
