Robert ventures ‘fourth’ on his first outing at Silverstone thumbnail

DUNDROD'S Robert Kennedy has made his debut at the Silverstone circuit, scoring his best result of the year in the Pirelli National/Black Horse stock Championship when he crossed the line in a hard earned fourth place.
Following Free Practice, in wet conditions, Kennedy, of Team Sandown Racing was in fifth place on the Kawasaki, and feeling comfortable with the Towcester circuit.
Next time out in damp conditions, Robert improved his times, but dropped down the pecking order, before improving in qualifying to take seventh spot on the grid.
Following an amazing start which saw the Sandown rider in third place, which he held for quite some time, before getting involved in a scrap for the final position and despite failing to snatch that much wanted podium placing, Kennedy was well satisfied with his performance, crossing the line in fourth, and with it, the second fastest lap of the race.
