THE organisers of the Enchanted Winter Garden have stepped up security after vandals threatened to spoil Antrim’s biggest ever Christmas party.
It may have started out as a modest festive offering for families, but in recent years the event has evolved into one of the biggest seasonal showcases in Northern Ireland luring visitors from across the province.

Working under the cover of darkness, intruders moved from kiosk to kiosk looking for valuables.
A till was removed from the payment kiosk, though thankfully it was empty at the time.
A number of cabins were broken into, and machinery was damaged, goods were stolen and the hard work of the shops that had filled them was undone.
The final bill for the mindless rampage is expected to run into thousands of pounds.
