YET more rubbish has been dumped - and this time set on fire - at the entrance to Tardree Forest.
The latest incident occurred last Tuesday (February 26) - on the same day that the Antrim Guardian exposed the ongoing issue of litter louts at the local beauty-spot.
Our headline told readers of a ‘dumping disgrace’ after a local woman came across a dead sheep, multiple full packs of out-of-date tablets, a house name plate, cans of Jeyes Fluid, a suitcase and a gas cannister.
That evening, a substantial amount of waste was dumped at an entrance to Tardree Forest on the Carnearney Road.
The rubbish was then set alight, causing damage to the road surface and gate.
