Fly High Ava

AN Antrim girl has been laid to rest after passing away in the early hours of Friday morning following a valiant fight with a rare form of cancer.

Ava Byrne’s packed funeral took place at St Comgall’s on Monday morning, before she was interred at Six Mile cemetery.

Mourners were encouraged to wear light blue and other bright colours and to donate to the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children in her memory.
