LAST Saturday, in surprisingly pleasant conditions, seven well-prepared County Antrim Harriers toed the line, along with almost 1,000 others, at the prestigious Seeley Cup 10k Road Race, in Belfast.
The flat, fast looped course took the racers along the Lagan embankment and through Ormeau Park.
All the Harriers competed strongly, and raced hard to achieve well deserved personal bests but a special mention for Mark McIlroy on his club debut.
Further afield, Tom Waterfield, who despite battling freezing fog and strong winds at the Nottingham Christmas Marathon, flew round the 26.2miles in a superb 3:33:09 (PB).
Well done also to Barbara Dalton and Lorna Haggan who, on Sunday, donned their Santa outfits to take part in the 3k Santa Family Mud Run for the Tiny Life charity.
