Moylena FC go to Specsavers! Local branch sponsors football team - and provides eye tests

FC Moylena, a Junior Football Club in Antrim has received brand-new training kits as part of a new sponsorship from local opticians, Specsavers Antrim.

Specsavers Antrim has donated £1,500 to the club, which has been used to fund the new kits.

In addition, the store’s local experts will also provide the team with free eye tests and contact lens assessments during the training season, helping to support the eye health of the whole team.

The announcement comes during National Eye Health Week, which runs from 22nd – 28th September, highlighting how preventative care and early diagnosis are crucial in reducing unnecessary sight loss.

The national campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of regular eye checks.

FC Moylena is a well-established football club based in Antrim.

Established in 1977, the club has earned a reputation as one of Antrim town’s most successful junior teams, playing its home matches at the Antrim Forum, located on Lough Road.
