TINY House Coffee, part of Chimney Corner Football and Social Club, has raised an impressive £500 for Women’s Aid Antrim through a special Christmas Day fundraising opening, made possible by the generosity of local football club members and the wider community.
Opening its doors on Christmas Day from 11am to 2pm, all coffee was free and visitors were asked to donate instead of payment.
Tiny House Coffee welcomed supporters for festive drinks and seasonal cheer, proving that even a ‘tiny’ coffee shop can make a big impact.
The total of £500 was raised in a single day, with all proceeds donated directly to Women’s Aid Antrim, supporting vital services for women and families affected by domestic abuse.
The fundraising effort was driven by the incredible backing of members from Chimney Corner FC, alongside friends, families, and local residents who came together to support the cause during the festive season.
“We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us on Christmas Day.” said Declan Donaghy.
“This was truly a community effort - from the club members who gave their time to the locals who stopped by for a coffee. Raising £500 for Women’s Aid Antrim on such a special day shows the power of community spirit.”
The Christmas Day opening was part of a wider message of togetherness and generosity, summed up by the event’s festive theme: “Have yourself a tiny little Christmas.”
Chimney Corner F.C. would like to thank everyone who contributed, donated, and shared the day, helping turn a few festive coffees into meaningful support for a vital local charity.
