Isla McManus, Junior Eurovision Ireland Finalist, joined friends and family for a celebratory breakfast at The Junction, Antrim marking the rising star’s breakout success.
Celebrating her achievements, The Junction presented Isla with a plaque that will be placed within the mall, commending her talent, alongside a special gift microphone.
Joining Isla at breakfast, Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Leah Kirkpatrick spoke of Isla’s fantastic achievements.
Recording her first music video this year, there’s no stopping the young talent.
Isla has taken 2025 by storm, raising money for Autism NI alongside Logan Doyle with a duet of The Greatest Showman’s A Million Dreams and performing in Matilda at the Grand Opera House.
Isla McManus shot to stardom during the Covid-19 Pandemic, with her viral rendition of Dance Monkey. Since then, Isla has continued to shine, singing at Antrim’s seven Christmas light switch-ons in 2023 and declaring The Junction, Antrim as her favourite location to perform.
Serving as a brand ambassador for the Express Yourself campaign with Aware NI and recently winning a ‘special recognition award’ at Local Women’s Magazine Awards, Isla has no plans to slow down as she gets set to appear on RTE’s The Late Late Toy Show on Friday 5 December 2025.
Congratulating Isla, Chris Flynn, Centre Director at The Junction, said: “Everyone at The Junction is delighted to celebrate Isla’s achievements. She is an absolutely phenomenal performer who continues to inspire so many. At such a young age, Isla has amazed us all with her talent and we cannot wait to watch her continue in her path to superstardom and hope to have her back at The Junction very soon.”
Cllr. Leah Kirkpatrick, Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council Mayor, said: “Isla McManus has inspired our community with her courage, compassion, and extraordinary talent. Her remarkable achievements, culminating in a stunning 2nd place at Junior Eurovision Ireland, have brought immense pride to her school, our Borough, and our Country. Congratulations, Isla. Keep shining!”
