Workplace awards for Antrim firm

ANTRIM-based Kinecx Energy is celebrating after being recognised with two workplace awards.

The company – formerly firmus energy networks – is one of the first businesses in Northern Ireland to be recognised as a Verified Vibrant Workplace.

The milestone was achieved following its participation in a cultural optimisation programme that is specifically designed to enhance workplace culture, and support companies in becoming standout employers.

The programme’s data demonstrated strong outcomes for Kinecx Energy, including an Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) of 55.9, which is rated as an ‘excellent’ measure of how likely employees would recommend their workplace to others.

Kinecx Energy CEO, Niall Martindale, said: “People really are our most important asset. We work hard to maintain our physical network, so we must work just as hard to maintain and develop our staff.

Kinecx Energy has also retained its ‘We Invest in People Gold’ accreditation from Investors in People (IIP).
