MLA welcomes War Memorial Hall funding boost

SOUTH Antrim DUP MLA Trevor Clarke has welcomed a funding boost for Templepatrick War Memorial Hall.

He said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Templepatrick War Memorial Hall has secured £24,000 for major energy efficiency upgrades, including new solar panels, LED lighting, roof insulation, and draught-proof fire doors.

“These fantastic renovations will reduce running costs, carbon emissions and ensure the long-term sustainability of the Hall.

“Templepatrick War Memorial Hall is home to Stay N Play Day Care for 30 children, Lodge meetings and community fundraisers, events like coffee mornings, historical talks, quiz nights and barbeques, Christmas Dinners supporting charities like Help for Heroes and Macmillan and cultural evenings with the Ulster-Scots Society

“A huge well done to Michael White for his incredible work on this, I’m proud to have been able to play a part in supporting such a successful project for Templepatrick.”
