CRUMLIN based company Relinea is proud to announce the donation of £5186 to Air Ambulance Northern Ireland, presented by members of the Relinea team during a visit to the Air Ambulance NI base in Lisburn.

The donation will support the charity’s ongoing mission to provide fast, life-saving pre-hospital care through its Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS).

Air Ambulance NI operates in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, delivering advanced medical care to patients in serious or life-threatening situations across the province.

The helicopter service operates 365 days a year, and can reach anywhere in Northern Ireland in approximately 25 minutes, playing a crucial role in emergency response efforts.

“It was an honour for the Relinea team to visit the Air Ambulance base, hear real-life patient stories, and see the profound impact this service has on our communities,” said Marlene Gray, Marketing Manager and Charity Committee Chairperson at Relinea.

“We are delighted to support such a vital service that contributes to saving lives, brains and limbs throughout Northern Ireland.”

Air Ambulance NI is a registered charity that relies entirely on public and corporate support to remain operational. The service’s daily operational costs are significant, and every donation directly supports helicopter flights, fuel, medical equipment, specialist training and more to ensure patients receive the critical care they need when every second counts.

At Relinea, a dedicated Charity Committee plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of charitable giving and fundraising activities.

This voluntary team, made up of employees from across the company, ensures that our support efforts align with our values and the needs of the community.

All funds raised through Relinea’s charity initiatives are donated directly to the selected organisations, ensuring that every contribution makes a meaningful difference.

Over the past year, Relinea employees have taken part in a range of fundraising activities, from sponsored cycles to quizzes and raffles, to support our chosen causes.

“We are incredibly proud of the efforts of our Charity Committee and every colleague who has taken part in fundraising activities,” said Chris Cundell, General Manager at Relinea.

“Their enthusiasm and commitment make contributions like this to Air Ambulance NI possible.”
